General Questions

  1. Who's eligible for myPHOTOcard®?

    Those who have a Zions Bank account with a Visa® Debit Card, Visa Credit Card, MasterCard, Visa Business Debit Card and/or Visa Business Credit Card. You must be enrolled in Online Banking in order to customize your card. The primary account owner and any authorized users on the account can customize their card.

  2. How often can I change my card to a myPHOTOcard®?

    You can change your existing card for either the primary account owner or first authorized user as often as you like. The first image for the primary account owner and first authorized user is included at no cost. Any additional image or image change is $4.95 per occurrence. The fee will be deducted from your checking account linked to your debit card. For credit cards, the fee will be charged to your credit card.

  3. How does my photo get approved?

    Every submitted image is reviewed for compliance with the Image Guidelines.

  4. What images are not acceptable?

    Please see our Image Guidelines for our criteria for acceptable photo submissions. Zions Bank reserves the right to reject any image we believe violates our Image Guidelines. If an image is rejected, you will be notified by e-mail within two business days. You may submit a new image anytime following your rejection notification.

  5. How much does it cost?

    The first card for both the primary account owner and first authorized user is included at no cost. Each additional card thereafter is $4.95. The fee will be deducted from your checking account linked to your debit card. For credit cards, the fee will be charged to your credit card.

  6. What happens when my card expires?

    Upon expiration of your card, a new card will be sent with the same image as your most recent card.

  7. What if I upgrade or change the type of card?

    If you change card types (Classic to Platinum, etc.) your image will be transferred to the new card type.

  8. How will I receive my personalized card?

    Your card will be mailed to you via the U.S. Postal Service.

  9. How long will it take to receive my card?

    After your request has been submitted and approved by Zions Bank, you can expect your card to be mailed within 3-5 business days.

  10. What if my card is lost or stolen?

    If your card is lost or stolen, please call us immediately to replace your card. Your new issued card will have the same image as your previous card. To report a lost or stolen debit card, please call 800-287-0301. To report a lost or stolen credit card, please call 866-749-7459.

  11. Will my existing card work until my new myPHOTOcard® arrives?

    Yes, your existing card will continue to work until you activate your new myPHOTOcard®. Please destroy your old card once the new card is activated.

  12. Will any financial or personal information be transferred to the design service?

    No, we do not transfer or share any of your financial or personal information with the design service.

  13. How many times can the image on my card be changed?

    The image can be changed as many times as you would like. The first card image is included at no cost; each additional image is $4.95.

  14. How will I know if my image is accepted or rejected?

    You will receive an e-mail within two business days, telling you if your image was rejected or approved.

  15. How do I design my card?

    Card customization is easy; follow these simple steps:

    1. Log in to online banking.
    2. Click on the myPhotocard button on the balances page.
    3. Upload the photo you would like on your card.
    4. Customize the look of your card by enlarging, cropping, rotating or adding a border.
    5. Once you are satisfied with the look of your card, hit the submit button.
  16. What format does the digital photo need to be in?

    The photo needs to be a digital photo in .jpeg or .bmp format. The image needs to be at least 840x840 pixels and at least 50KB (kilobytes) in size, not to exceed 10MB (megabytes).

  17. How do I convert my photo into a digital photo?

    You will need to convert your physical photo into a digital photo. If you take a regular photo to a photo processing facility, they may be able to scan the photo for you and put it on a disk. Remember, the image needs to be saved in either .jpeg or .bmp formats.

  18. What size does my digital photo need to be?

    Please use an image that is at least 840x840 pixels. Our design service provides a tool to re-size your picture to look the way you want it to.

  19. What can I do to make sure myPHOTOcard® turns out as good as possible?

    Choose a clear, sharply focused image, preferably taken at a high resolution. You can also use photo editing software to enhance your photo prior to uploading it; however, it is not mandatory.

Business Card Questions

  1. Can I customize my business card?

    Yes, business cards are eligible. Please note that you must be enrolled in Business Online Banking in order to customize your card.

  2. Who can order a business card?

    Only an account owner who has access as a Customer System Administrator (CSA) within Business Online Banking can submit an image and request issuance of myPHOTOcard® business cards.

  3. Can I have a different image on all of my business cards?

    Each time a new image is uploaded and submitted, all cards linked to the business's account will be reissued with that new Image.

  4. How much does it cost to customize my Business Card?

    There is no issuance fee for the first request to issue all cardholders a myPHOTOcard® business card. Thereafter, for each new image that is uploaded and approved, a per-card issuance fee of $4.95 will be charged to the related business account.

  5. Can the image I upload to my card be my company logo or other copyrighted picture?

    Yes, you can upload your company logo onto the card as long as:

    • the image/logo you are submitting was created by you,
    • you are the owner of the image, and/or
    • you have obtained express written consent from the owner of the image for the bank to alter, copy, print, distribute, prepare and use the image on your myPHOTOcard®.
