Zions Bank sponsors numerous military appreciation events with local sports teams where the cost is covered for service members and their families to attend. Zions Bank also sponsors numerous other activities, including picnics, family days, rodeos and concerts, so that service members and their families can spend quality time together.

Zions Bank Employees Support the Military

Zions Bank employees are committed to supporting those left behind when a family member is deployed. Employees have dedicated their own time to:

  • Fix broken furnaces
  • Professionally videotape childrens’ football games, so that deployed service members could see them while deployed
  • Assembled swing sets and trampolines
  • Provided lawn care
  • Dressed as Santa to deliver gifts to the family of one of our deployed service members, so the children could catch Santa on video
  • Raised more than $18,000 for a family to remodel their home to accommodate the needs of their son who was injured in Afghanistan

The Zions Bank team also provides career advice for guardsmen and reservists as well as bank employees interested in military careers.
