Cory Gardiner is executive vice president of Business and Consumer Banking for Zions Bank’s Retail Division. In this role, she oversees the bank’s Capital/South Davis, Cottonwood, Central Utah, Wasatch Back and Southern Utah retail regions.
Gardiner began her career at Zions Bank in 2004 as manager of the Ogden financial center. She has also served as a commercial relationship manager and as a manager of the bank’s Women’s Financial Group. In 2013, Gardiner was named region president for the Northern Utah retail region, spanning Box Elder, Cache, Rich, Weber and Davis counties, where she was responsible for market share growth and profitability.
Gardiner is known as a leader in the Zions Bank’s Mentor Program, and as an advocate for developing women into leadership roles. She is a co-founder of E3, a Weber County group dedicated to helping women grow into leadership roles in the community.
Gardiner holds an MBA from Cameron University a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Hawaii Pacific University. She is also a 2010 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. She has been listed among Zions Bank’s “Top Women’s Banking Team” in American Banker magazine.
An Ogden resident, Gardiner is active in the community. She has served on the St. Joseph Catholic School Board of Directors and on the Ogden School Foundation Board of Directors. Gardiner currently serves on the Davis Chamber Executive Board of Directors, the United Way of Northern Utah Executive Board of Directors, Catholic Community Services Advisory Board and the Weber State University John B. Goddard School of Business and Economics Advisory Council.
Gardiner and her husband, Andy, have a daughter. In her spare time, Gardiner enjoys traveling and reading.
