  1. What are the differences between PC Banking and Online Banking?

In general, PC banking uses a Personal Financial Management (PFM) software package such as Quicken® or QuickBooks®. With your PFM software you can access Zions directly and download banking information into your software's check register as well as pay bills online. Online Banking uses a web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to create a secure connection between your computer and the Zions Online Banking site. Online Banking gives you access to your banking balances and transactions, as well as the ability to pay bills, make transfers and apply for loans online, etc.

Your Customer ID was provided to you at the time of enrollment. If you have forgotten or misplaced this info, please call us at 1-800-840-4999, Mon.-Sat. from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. MST.

  4. When is the information in PC Banking updated?

The information in PC Banking is updated every morning with activity from the previous day. Transactions can be downloaded Tuesday - Saturday through Direct Connect. PC Banking will only download items posted to accounts and will not show any pending items.

  5. What is the difference between Web Connect and Direct Download?

Web Connect allows clients to login to Zions Bank Online Banking and select the Download option to export data from Online Banking to Personal Financial Management (PFM ex. Quicken, QuickBooks) Software. The client will be able to select a time range to download activity. Clients can download up to 18 months of activity. Through this method clients can view loan and credit card activity. However, this option doesn’t allow clients to pay bills via PFM.

With Direct Download, the PFM automatically imports transactions from Online Banking. Through this method clients won’t be able to select a date range or view loan activity. However, clients can pay bills and make transfers to loans through their software instead of using Zions Bank bill pay and transfers.

  6. How do I add additional accounts to my PC Banking?

The first step is to create a new account within your software by entering the correct account number. All checking and money market accounts use 9 digit account numbers, and all savings accounts use 10 digits. After completing the required fields, contact Online Banking at 1-800-840-4999 to request the linkage of the additional account, and access will be provided within 24 hours.
