Zions Employees Raise $16,000

Through Bowlathon events in Utah and Achieve-A-Bowl in Idaho, the teams raised more than $16,000 to support Junior Achievement, the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

In Utah, the force awakened in Zions employees during the Star Wars themed Bowlathon, while Idaho participants let the good times roll in honor of Mardi Gras.

“Junior Achievement is helping create a strong foundation for success after high school through their efforts to enhance financial literacy and stimulate entrepreneurship in our youth,” said Zions Bank Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Advisory Services Keith Schmidt, who serves on the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Utah and is an avid bowler who put himself through college by participating on a bowling team. “Our employees are always willing to support this great organization — plus we have fun at the same time.”
