Speaking on Business: Bohme
Bohme operates 17 women's boutique clothing stores across five states with more in development.

Online sales are the major driver for retail shopping today. While sisters and business partners Fernanda and Vivien Bohme have increased online commerce for their retail clothing operation Bohme by an impressive 4,000 percent, they still consider brick and mortar clothes shopping as their top sales opportunity. This is the reason Bohme has 17 women’s boutique clothing stores across 5 states, with more in development. Utah has 9 stores with the newest Bohme opening in City Creek Center next month. This store introduces their latest retail concept with more square footage, customer and employee lounges.
Innovation has been critical for Bohme, and Fernanda says one of their latest additions is launching their Bohme brand, starting with a new line of Bohme branded denim that will add to the clothing brands they carry. Plus, there’s the option for same-day in-store alterations.
Fernanda and Vivien opened their first Bohme clothing store in 2007. They are originally from Brazil and grew up working alongside their parents at several jobs, which is where these sisters learned their impressive work ethic, and it remains a guiding principle today. Bohme has 250 associates with opportunities for growth and management, which is unique for a large clothing retailer.
Vivien and Fernanda have been named as 2019 Small Business Person of the Year for Utah.
