The Hotel Monaco is a Salt Lake City is designed to provide a luxurious hotel experience in a historic building, and this year they’ll celebrate their 20th anniversary. These are uniquely designed rooms that are pet-friendly and welcome guests from all over, including numerous repeat customers.

Hotel Monaco is part of the Kimpton organization which operates over 60 hotels across the U.S., Canada and Europe with international expansion in Asia and Central America in the works. A critical component of the business model is converting existing historic buildings into beautiful hotel properties, so approximately half are new construction with the other half as historic buildings, like Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City, originally a bank that opened in 1924. General Manager Ric Tanner loves hearing guests tell their memories of the building.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Nathan Powers the Bambara is known for creative dishes with locally-sourced materials and fresh seafood. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a weekend brunch.
