Speaking on Business: Lion’s Gate Manor
Lion’s Gate Manor is a bed and breakfast with eight themed rooms serving visitors to the world-famous Lava Hot Springs.

Following a successful military career, John and Tami Clark wanted to build a business they could run as a family, which can be a great strategy to build wealth, especially for future generations. So, in 2007 they created a bed and breakfast in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and named it Lion’s Gate Manor. And now their daughter, Tami and her husband Chris are running the inn, bringing it into the next generation.
Lion’s Gate Manor is a bed and breakfast with eight themed rooms that has become a favorite for visitors to the world-famous Lava Hot Springs. Each room comes with all the modern comforts and features in-suite private bathrooms with showers and jetted tubs. The beds have comfortable pillow top mattresses, and John says they provide a full hot country breakfast at the “royal table,” an elaborate table where guests sit on throne chairs.
The most popular room is the Phantom of the Opera, where guests enter through a secret passageway to find soft candlelight, roses and an ornate bed. Other room themes include Roman, Spanish and Victorian. They recently added the Enchanted Elven Forest as their newest themed room. It’s decorated like a beautiful forest with an ornate bed.
