Speaking on Business: Roofers Supply
With high-touch service and consistent innovation Roofers Supply has become Utah's premier roofing supply company.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Siblings Dino and Stephanie Pappas (pah-pahs) of Roofers Supply say they learned their work ethic from their parents, Steve and Helen Pappas, who operated multiple successful businesses. Their inherited work intensity has served them well in owning and operating Roofers Supply, in partnership with their brothers John and George Pappas (pah-pahs), now celebrating 25 years this month.
Over the years, Roofers Supply has set themselves apart through their innovation, by improving processes in the competitive construction industry. For example, they created software technology that allows customers to know the delivery status of their product in real-time. They also offer high-touch service that has lead to this family-owned business of 120 employees becoming Utah’s premiere roofing supply company with six locations throughout the state, from Logan to St. George.
The family is growing, with all four siblings still involved, while the third generation is on board at Roofers Supply with their kids graduating from college. The developing talent of the new generation, combined with the seasoned experience of the siblings, has strengthened their vision for the company’s future.
Community support remains a driving value for Roofers Supply, like the Steve G. Pappas scholarship, a $2,000 scholarship open to all children of Utah roofing contractors, applicators or salespersons. They’re awarding two scholarships a year to meet demand.
