It’s a struggle every parent faces – potty training their kids, and night time tends to be the most difficult part. Craig and Megan Hammond were training their son, who did great during the day but struggled at night. They were especially motivated when their toddler son would sneak into their room at night to sleep and have an accident, leaving everything soaked, including his parents. Craig knew there had to be a better way, so Peejamas was born.

Peejamas are made with plush fabric that holds liquid, so if your child has an accident while asleep at night, the fabric absorbs the liquid, keeping the bed from getting soaked, though the child can feel the cold, wet sensation so it continues to support potty training. One set of Peejamas is good for at least 300 washings.

After the initial idea for Peejamas, Craig created a Kickstarter campaign to launch his business. The response was impressive, with the 45-day campaign they pre-sold over $225,000 worth of Peejamas, the biggest launch in kids clothing. The company officially opened in February this year, and sales increase monthly as parents discover the innovative product, since Peejamas go up to size 7.
