Speaking on Business: Cache Valley Boxing
Cache Valley Boxing has everything you need to make boxing your new training routine.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Ryan Gregory believes boxing is a complete cardio and exercise workout, and he would know because he personally lost 100 pounds with cardio boxing and was so motivated, he became a trainer. Earlier this year he took his passion and turned it into a business when he opened Cache Valley Boxing, located at 70 E. Golf Course Road in Logan.
Cache Valley Boxing has everything you need to make boxing your new training routine, like heavy bag stations for you to practice your boxing moves and a 14-foot training ring where you can practice with an opponent. While Ryan is set up to teach competitive boxing, especially after coaching for 20 years, most of his clients are there for cardio boxing, to learn new skills and get in shape. He offers group fitness classes that offer cardio boxing a couple times per day and is also developing a youth program for kids from age 8 to 14.
Ryan is so inspired that Cache Valley Boxing offers a Rock Steady Boxing program, which are boxing workouts designed to help slow the progression of Parkinson’s disease. Research has shown how these workouts help build and strengthen muscle tissue, provide support with timing and reflexes, which all support managing the disease.
