Speaking on Business: Sunshine Terrace Foundation
The Sunshine Terrace Foundation’s services include assisted living, memory care, post-acute skilled nursing and long-term care.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
The purpose of a company’s existence can be the most compelling story of purpose, so after 70 years of comprehensive professional caregiving in Utah, the goal for the Sunshine Terrace Foundation continues to be providing healthcare services for their patients and families in Cache Valley.
The Sunshine Terrace Foundation’s services include assisted living, memory care, post-acute skilled nursing and long-term care. CEO Bryan Erickson says their goal is to provide a collection of professional services and caregiving to address the needs of the aging community. Their team has 330 employees and are taking care of clients who come from as far away as Preston, Tremonton and Brigham City.
As a non-profit organization, Sunshine Terrace Foundation is very involved in the community. This means they offer complimentary education and support services, like a fitness class for those with Parkinson’s disease called Rock Steady Boxing that helps with muscle coordination and strength. Participants come twice a week and work out in the boxing ring they’ve built in their facility and enjoy an increased quality of life, like one participant who discovered she could continue to enjoy running long distance and even improved her time per mile.
Sunshine Terrace Foundation also offers weekly support groups.
