Speaking on Business: Zions Small Business Support
Zions Bank has always been known as a champion of small business.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Optimism is high among small business owners, with revenue and staff growth top of mind for companies in the U.S. In the annual Small Business Survey, 53 percent of small businesses said they planned to grow in 2018, up from 46 percent in 2017. The number of small business owners planning to recruit more staff increased from 9 percent to 22 percent in the same year. This is contributing to the impressive Idaho economy and is one reason the Gem State is one of the fastest-growing states in the nation.
Supporting this critical demographic has always been an important focus for Zions Bank. In fact, Zions has always been known as a champion of small business, which is why during the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2018 fiscal year, Zions ranked No. 1. For 17 consecutive years, Zions Bank has rated as the state’s top provider of SBA 7(a) loans in Idaho’s Boise District. As an example of this commitment to small business, Zions Bank started the “Speaking of Business” radio program, which is a business feature, gifted to small business owners.
It started over 20 years ago by top bank leaders as a way to support our Idaho small business community. We’re always looking for great companies. To be featured please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
