Speaking on Business: Lancer Automotive
Lancer Automotive Group works to help companies switch their fleets from traditional to alternative fuel systems.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
As a kid, Lance Granger was such a natural with mechanical work that he started repairing his neighbors’ lawnmowers, motorcycles and power equipment in his parent’s garage, later working on vehicles. Today, Lance is founder and president of Lancer Automotive Group, with business partner Scott Brandenberry, as a premier auto service and repair facility, with customers from as far away as California.
Lancer Automotive Group is known for their repair work. However, one of their timely specialties is working with companies to switch their fleets from traditional to alternative fuel systems that are cost efficient and better for our environment. Both Lance and Scott can advise on the right type of system for your fleet. In fact, in 2011, Lancer Automotive Group helped General Motors develop a CNG fuel system for their Chevy Express Vans.
Education is an important part of what they do, and Lancer Automotive Group has a classroom on site where they bring people in to explain alternative fuel options; plus, they train first responders on effective ways to handle crashes involving alternative fuel vehicles. As a stakeholder in Utah Clean Cities, they co-sponsor Ride and Drive events, where you can test drive electric, propane and natural gas vehicles. Lancer Automotive Group is providing a public service in addressing air pollution.
