Speaking on Business: G2G Bar
G2G Bar is designed to be a great-tasting, all-natural protein bar, made locally in Orem.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Like many other great ideas, the Good 2 Go, or G2G, Bar started because Casey Child wanted a great product for himself but couldn’t find what he needed in the market. So he experimented in his kitchen until he came up with a great-tasting protein bar made from all-natural ingredients, that is gluten free. After his family and friends kept saying how great this protein bar tasted, Casey knew he was onto something.
Over the last 8 years, Casey has been refining the G2G bar, creating exactly the right recipes, flavor options, packaging and manufacturing. He took his wife, Shannon’s advice, (smart man!) that the bar had to taste great. So, the selection now includes 8 flavors, made with an almond or peanut butter base. And people have discovered G2G Bars because they’re shipped all over the country! Locally, you can find them in retailers like Harmon’s, Natural Grocers, Associated Foods, Maverik and Costco or online, through the G2G website, good2gobar.com and on Amazon.
Casey believed so strongly in the G2G product that he bootstrapped the company. They’ve utilized social media from the start, inviting influencers to try the bars. G2G Bar has 15 employees at their facility in Orem where they create the bars from start to finish.
