When Glenna Tooman started her business, Memory Makers Event Planning in Boise, her goal was to create flexibility to fit her family situation. Today, 20 years down the road, her event planning company in one of the most well-established in the Treasure Valley.
Memory Makers Event Planning is known for all types of events, including weddings, receptions, anniversary and birthday parties and business celebrations, like grand openings, groundbreakings or conferences. For the last couple of years, Glenna has focused on the corporate side of the business, and it now represents approximately 75 percent of her workload.
Glenna’s goal is always to meet clients’ needs in creating a successful event. One of her specialties with weddings at Memory Makers Event Planning is backcountry weddings that require extra planning and logistics, like destination weddings in Stanley or McCall, Idaho. And sometimes the event is such a success you can count wildlife as one of the guests. She has planned a former governor’s daughter’s wedding as well as done work for conferences for national associations, non-profits and federal agencies.
Memory Makers has grown right alongside the Treasure Valley, and the coverage area extends from Eastern Oregon through Twin Falls.
