Sawtooth Software is a software development company that specializes in predictive analytics, used in figuring out how to optimize products and services with multiple features, based on customer preference. This company’s skill is taking complex information and breaking it into a more easily-understood format, with high-end analytics and stats. Bryan says their analytics tools are used in healthcare, economics, higher education and transportation planning. They have the opportunity to work with major brands like Procter & Gamble, General Electric, Microsoft and General Motors, with a worldwide customer base.
Sawtooth Software is really taking off and, in fact, they grew over 20 percent in sales in 2017. They’ve taught classes around the world and have given over $3 million worth of their software as grants to master’s and PhD students.
Most recently, Sawtooth Software was used to help Tanzania develop better healthcare facilities to serve expectant mothers in rural areas. It was also used to help a restaurant group in England redesign their menu so they could compete more successfully in the restaurant space.
