Speaking on Business: Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee
Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee is a roaster with a small coffee bar serving their original and award-winning coffee.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
While growing up, Liz Roquet remembers her dad and his friends sitting around and enjoying a pastry and a cup of coffee in the afternoon in her dad’s pastry shop. This is where she first developed a love for a good cup of coffee, which became the basis for her business Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee, which is now 10 years old.
Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee is a roaster with a small coffee bar inside where they serve their original and award-winning coffee each day from 8 to 11 a.m. in Ketchum. Their coffees come with 100 percent Arabic beans, are specialty grade and roasted to order, with 6 signature offerings and 3 limited edition blends. Lizzy’s has wholesale customers throughout Idaho, California and as far away as the Midwest and with online, direct-to-consumer sales, she’s shipping nationwide. During April, Lizzy’s will be the featured roaster of the month at a coffee shop in Logan, Utah.
Product quality is highly important to Liz, and she has taken coffee courses on brewing, roasting and being a barista to ensure Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee offers only the best. She recommends using the coffee within two weeks and securely sealing the coffee bag to keep out light, air, moisture and heat, so coffee tastes great and is at its freshest.
