Speaking on Business: Haight Bey
Haight Bey is working to empower, educate and support companies in setting up their own cyber security systems.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
When it comes to cyber security, we should all be concerned. A breach can put us out of business, costing millions, and affect reputations. As a veteran-owned business, Alli Bey of Haight Bey, is approaching it differently. He’s working to empower, educate and support companies in setting up their own cyber security systems.
Haight Bey in West Haven is an engineering and security solutions firm, dedicated to providing an effective cyber security solution, driven by the client. They go into an organization and provide training on threats to sensitive information and advise on how to effectively protect intellectual property. While working one-on-one with each client, they introduce them to tools that are available and establish their own system, while training the CEO and associates how to be cyber secure. They’ve found their teaching niche with small to medium-sized businesses; however, they work with commercial entities worldwide and the Department of Defense.
Cyber security is a hot topic, and Haight Bey is different because they’re teaching their clients how to problem solve while being cyber secure. It’s critical to take responsibility for security, and with so many tools available, Alli and his team are educating clients on how to use them. With their tool called Totem, they identify gaps in the system and track progress in fixing them.
