Speaking on Business: Clear Creek Adventures
Clear Creek Adventures has all the gear you could possibly want for a great outdoor adventure, like bikes, kayaks and tents.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Clear Creek Adventures is a classic example of taking your passion and turning it into a really cool business. Mallery and John Dunn both grew up in Helper, Utah and see it as an amazing but mostly unknown outdoor experience. They took John’s passion for mountain and road biking with one of the best trail systems in the state and turned it into Clear Creek Adventures.
With their brand-new storefront at 110 Main St. in Helper that opened this season, Clear Creek Adventures has all the gear you could possibly want for a great outdoor adventure, like bikes, kayaks and tents. For more advanced riders, they offer all-inclusive tour packages that include one to two days of riding with a full camping experience with the camping gear, meals and a private yoga class. Families tend to love the Electric Bike Picnic Package, with a 90-minute electric bike rental and a picnic provided by the local deli. Mallery and John recommend trying the Riverside Loop as a great option for first-timers.
Clear Creek Adventures is a family business run by John, Mallery and their son Caden, who at 9 is already a bike enthusiast. They wind down the first part of November but have their eye on expanding into winter activities.
