When Jessica Davies started experimenting with recipes, her goal was to create great-tasting vegan variations of French pastries to fit her own lifestyle. It took a few years to create what she wanted, and once she came to Salt Lake City, Jessica opened her business, Passion Flour Patisserie to offer her baked goods to Utah’s growing vegan community, with impressive success!
Located in the thriving 9th South and 2nd East neighborhood, Passion Flour Patisserie offers a comprehensive menu of plant-based items, like the almond croissant that is a customer favorite. Jessica attended The French Pastry School in Chicago where she studied under world-renown chefs, so Passion Flour Patisserie has over 50 options for pastries. She is constantly innovating and won’t offer a new product unless she’s confident her customers will love it. The menu now includes sandwiches, salads and toast, and her non-vegan customers love the food, especially those with food allergies.
A growing part of the business for Passion Flour Patisserie is custom cakes. The word is out about Jessica’s quality of work, because she spent a couple years working for a prestigious wedding cake company. You can find at least one custom cake per week at Passion Flour Patisserie with flavors that change seasonally, like Blueberry Lemon Chantilly, Rose or Citrus with lemon buttercream.
