In connection with the Sundance Film Festival, Zions Bank honors female role models who are leading out in their industries.

In connection with the Sundance Film Festival, Zions Bank honors female role models who are leading out in their industries.

The women honored are:

  • Healthcare Leadership: Dr. Patricia Morton, dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Utah, and has authored three textbooks, numerous book chapters and over 50 journal articles for the medical industry.
  • Judicial Leadership: Judge Jill Parrish, appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Utah in 2015 and has served in many capacities during her 12-year tenure on the Utah Supreme Court.
  • Film Leadership: Virginia Pearce, film commissioner for the state of Utah, has brought major networks to Utah to produce TV shows, creating an economic impact of almost $100 million
  • Conservation Leadership: Heidi Redd, owner and operator of Dugout Ranch, one of the largest and most scenic ranches in the southwest at 350,000 acres and has worked tirelessly with political agencies statewide to protect and conserve this land
  • Civic Leadership: Rosie Rivera, currently serving as Salt Lake County’s first female sheriff, and has spent over 20 years in law enforcement, protecting others and serving her community
  • Philanthropic Leadership: Carrie Romano, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area and under her leadership, the charity completed a $12 million expansion
