Speaking on Business: EmieJames
EmieJames is a boutique with home décor, gift items, jewelry and fresh flowers.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
As a jewelry rep, Lisa Pack spent years going to boutiques and gift stores selling her product and would often take her daughter, Marne Grange, with her. This mother and daughter were so inspired, their dream was to build a business together. And last year, their dream came true with the opening of EmieJames in Eden, with business partner Emily Hogg.
EmieJames is designed to be an experience, with home décor, gift items, jewelry and fresh flowers. Marne says their dedication is to offer items unique to their store. Here you can find Illume Candles, Taylor and Tessier jewelry and Lizzy James wrap bracelets, with both jewelry lines handmade in the U.S. As for the flowers, Marne says EmieJames also offers full-service flower design and have already provided flowers for multiple weddings.
All three owners are originally from Eden and say they can’t imagine having EmieJames anywhere else. The store is located in a historic home with a full kitchen, so they keep a supply of drinks and love to give fresh homemade baked goods to their customers. With Snowbasin and Wolf Creek resorts and Pineview Lake nearby, they anticipate tourism will be a driver for their business, with state tourism projected to experience a 5 percent increase in travel-related sales.
