Dave Williams grew up working in the famous Idaho potato fields, where he learned the value of hard work. He put that work ethic to great use when he purchased three Burger King franchises in 1984 and has steadily grown his company, HB Boys, now in partnership with Gary Moore and they have diversified, with multiple franchises. They’re doing business in 5 Western States, including Idaho, with over 2,500 employees.
In December, HB Boys opened their second Burger King location in Twin Falls, because Twin Falls is receiving national attention for impressive business growth. This is the second location for this growing Idaho city and is now part of the network of 27 Burger King restaurants HB Boys owns statewide. They’re also actively involved with the communities they’re serving through local sponsorships and other events.
HB Boys is operating under the Burger King, Beans and Brews and Costa Vida brands. 20 years ago HB Boys entered the convenience store business and it’s been an important part of the company’s impressive growth. They operate 11 travel centers in Idaho, Utah and Nevada which include a fueling station, convenience store and restaurants. You can find a travel site in Rexburg which is a similar size to the center just built for the new Salt Lake City Airport.
