Speaking on Business: Rainbow Gardens
Rainbow Gardens offers two gift stores, an old-fashioned garden cafe and a fabric store, all under one roof.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
When you talk about one-of-a-kind, destination shopping, it doesn’t get more unique than Rainbow Gardens. In a pristine location at the mouth of Ogden Canyon, this family-owned business on 180 acres offers two gift stores, an old-fashioned garden café and a fabric store all under one roof.
Jenny King Francl with her brothers Bill, Peery and Robby King are the third generation to be involved with Rainbow Gardens. Their goal is to provide a unique and enjoyable shopping experience with home décor, fashion accessories, toys, candles and holiday décor for every season. There’s also a huge selection of greeting cards, which is one of the largest in the state. Rainbow Gardens’ plant department has wind chimes and items for your home and plants.
The building dates back to the early 1900s when it was a hot springs resort located at the mouth of Ogden Canyon. Jenny’s parents Roseanne and Bob King took over management of the property and changed the name to Rainbow Gardens, which has grown and changed over the years. Today all five of Roseanne and Bob’s children manage the business and are supporting 60 associates.
If you’re in the market for fabulous and unique gift items, seasonal décor or custom packaged candies, check out Rainbow Gardens.
