Waffle Love is a classic business success story. Adam Terry has a passion for food and always knew he always wanted to do something with it someday. When he lost his job, he found a broken down old van, and his wife Melissa designed and painted a logo and this became their first food truck, Waffle Love.
Waffle Love is known for their liege (lee-ai-sz) waffle, created from a dough made with carmelized sugar that is moist, light and flaky and takes a full 24 hours to perfect. It started basic with a waffle topped with biscoff spread and whipped cream and as word spread, their menu expanded so it now includes both sweet and savory waffles, topped with fruit, ice cream and whipped cream, made as simple or as fancy as you want. They also have their own version chicken and waffles that is a customer favorite!
The concept has been so popular, Waffle Love includes 10 brick and mortar locations with 7 in Utah, 2 in California and 1 in Arizona in addition to their popular food truck. The company is in the process of franchising, so you’ll soon find them in Boise, Idaho and Austin, Texas.
