This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Not everyone can say they found their life passion at a young age, but Reade Gloeckner did. He t realized his talent for abstract art after a third-grade art assignment but didn’t know what it meant until years later. Today, he gets to live his passion every day as a resident artist and the curator of Gallery 25 in Ogden.
Located on Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Gallery 25 is an artist cooperative dedicated to showcasing local Utah artists. It has 12 resident members who pay a monthly buy-in and have their art displayed on the main floor of this beautiful gallery, located in a historic building with original flooring, which only adds to the ambience. They also regularly host guest artists who display their art throughout the gallery, and because it’s a co-op, Reade says artists of Gallery 25 receive a higher commission.
Some of their top-selling artists include Mac Stevenson, who founded Gallery 25, and spent years teaching art and is now a professional; Kathy Lee Haegen, voted top 10 in the world for her work in Impressionist Nature; and Kris Wilson who loves capturing everyday inspiration in her art.
You’ve got to see the beautiful artwork at Gallery 25 for yourself at 268 Historic 25th St! Visit in person or online at www.gallery25utah.com.
