Speaking on Business: Wasatch Fresh
Wasatch Fresh provides a fresh, healthy and local meal delivery service.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
If you’re looking for an alternative to rich holiday food, are a single parent head of household, a senior living on your own or just want to ease the stress of figuring out dinner, here’s a great Utah company to consider … Wasatch Fresh. Owner Page Annie Viehweg was inspired to start her dinner delivery service after hearing so many friends and family talk about the pressure of preparing dinner, and in just a short time of launching, the company has customers throughout the Wasatch Front.
Wasatch Fresh provides a fresh, healthy and local meal delivery service. Customers select which delivery option they want, from two to five days a week, then choose the days when it will be delivered. Page and her team prepare the meals fresh each day, and they’re sent out for delivery by 3 p.m. so dinner is at your house by 6.
Page developed a passion for cooking, and while living abroad, she took cooking classes in Rome, later attending culinary school there. Once she returned to the U.S., she became a private chef to put her children through college, but she always wanted her own business. She launched Wasatch Fresh 18 months ago and already has 16 employees.
