Speaking on Business: Park City Ski Swap
The Park City Ski Swap was set up decades ago for the community to come together to support the Park City Ski Team.
This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
After 44 years of doing something, you pretty much have it figured out. And that’s the reputation around the famous Park City Ski Swap, coming up next week. If you have any skis or snowboards or other mountain gear that you want to sell, you can go to Cole Sport or Jans Mountain Outfitters in Park City from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 to get your used equipment ready for sale.
The secret to selling your used ski or snowboard equipment at the Park City Ski Swap is to price it right and be motivated. You have one shot to sell it because you’d rather be picking up a check at the end of the swap meet than your used gear. There will also be discounted new skis and snowboards for sale.
The Park City Ski Swap was set up decades ago for the community to come together to support the Park City Ski Team, and 30 percent of the proceeds go to the ski team. It’s very important we support this initiative because without it the Park City Ski Team couldn’t continue to operate, which also affects their youth program.
Go to the website parkcityskiswap.com to check things out and find more information about the sale. Don’t forget the Park City Ski Swap starts Friday, Nov. 4.
For Zions Bank, I’m Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
