The group at Solu in Ketchum believes everybody has a unique story and just needs a way to effectively capture it. So, they created a comprehensive multi-media storytelling software that is a beautiful platform to record your life story.

David Currier, CEO and co-founder of Solu, says they’ve created a software solution that provides prompts to help you capture your life story with video, voice and text. You can start from any point or story that comes to mind and it’s automatically organized into shareable chapters in a familiar book-like format.

Since our brains don’t remember things chronologically, it’s easy to write chapters or stories and the software will organize it for you. This also means you can collect information in short increments so it’s not overwhelming, and you can invite collaborators to help create the story, like brothers and sisters capturing memories of mom and dad. The file is saved securely in the cloud or you can download it into an e-book.

One of the inspirations for Solu is the idea of preserving your personal legacy, collecting memories, including the sound of someone’s voice. They established five pillars as the basis for the company: inspiration, organization, connection, collaboration and preservation. While the product is serving a personal demographic, the founders are also looking at business applications.
