Economic Update - December 2019
November was a big month for job growth. Last month, the U.S. added 266,000 jobs and saw unemployment rates across many demographics sink to historic lows. However, it wasn't all good news as wage growth decreased slightly despite the lower unemployment rate. Inflation has also remained reasonable despite wage growth. The Fed seems content with the state of the economy and signaled no rate changes for 2020.
Watch this month’s Economic Video Update with Robert Spendlove, Economic and Public Policy Officer for Zions Bank, as we discuss the recent change in Fed policy and the current state of the U.S. economy.
