It’s easy to see that Andrew Scivally is fired up about what he does. With a slogan of “We Create Awesomeness,” eLearning Brothers says it is “on a mission to create eLearning rock stars.”

eLearning Brothers President Curtis Morley and CEO and Co-Founder Andrew Scivally are kicking their company into high gear.

The company is working toward this goal by providing what they say is the world’s largest and most interactive library of assets for eLearning content development. The company also creates custom eLearning and offers a customizable courseware library.

Like many startups, eLearning Brothers began in a basement with a great idea, and grew from there. Based in American Fork, Utah, the company has more than 50 employees. eLearning Brothers has been honored as one of the fastest growing companies in Utah for the past two years and has been named to the Inc. 5000 list four times.

A U.S. Small Business Administration loan from Zions Bank has helped eLearning Brothers expand the business.

“The SBA loan gave us the flexibility and funds needed to develop a new product line,” Andrew Scivally says. “As a bootstrapped business we don’t have a lot of extra cash and investment funds on hand. We are constantly trying to grow but must be careful to ensure that we can pay the bills.”

To entrepreneurs just getting started, he offers the following advice: “Don’t look back and say to yourself, ‘I wonder what would have happened if I’d only ...?’ Great things can happen but you’ve got to take a chance.”

Nine years after the business was founded, Andrew says he didn’t understand when they first started how much the business would become part of him. “It is intertwined into every part of my life,” he says. “Create a business that makes you and all those around you better people. Business and personal life must coexist and strengthen each other.”
