This is just a quick note to let you know how valuable the Zions FirstPointe and Net Deposit systems have been to the Synovus group of 40 banks. We began looking for an image clearing partner in late 2005 to help leverage our investment in image technology. At that time Zions appeared to be well ahead of the market for correspondent activity, not only from a pricing standpoint, but also from a systems perspective. Given this, we established a correspondent relationship and initiated image clearing in early 2006.
We’ve been very pleased with the ease of operation and stability of the system. Most important has been the responsiveness of not only the senior management but the line/production group as well. We believe that the product pricing and availability have significantly improved our operation. Little things such as being able to export cash letter details to internal spreadsheets allow us to make improvements in peripheral operational areas as well.
I'm very pleased that we’ve also moved forward in other areas, such as loan participations and Fed Fund lines of credit.

Fidelity Bank is a commercial bank with one office in Edina, MN. With a relatively small teller staff, it's been a challenge to achieve strong dual control, excellent customer service and efficiency. To assist us with these competing objectives, we made the decision to purchase a cash recycler to streamline teller transactions.
After considering a variety of recyclers, we selected the Arca CM18 because of its small footprint, features, capacity and overall value.
