Local Resource Center to Share Perspective on Homeowner Trends in Current Economy
Zions Bank will release the results of its September Utah Consumer Attitude Index (CAI) at the Homeowner’s Cafe in Midvale. Homeowner’s Café spokesperson, Lee Carter, will share thoughts on shopper trends at the Homeowner’s Café.
The Utah Consumer Attitude Index compares to the national Consumer Confidence Index® released the same day by the Conference Board. The indices gauge the degree of optimism for
the economy that consumers are expressing through their activities of savings and spending. National comparison enables consumers, businesses, and policymakers in to identify key economic trends unique to Utah.
Randy Shumway, CEO of The Cicero Group/Dan Jones & Associates, responsible for compiling the Consumer Attitude Index for Zions Bank, will speak on the findings from the current index.
Lee Carter, Homeowner’s Café spokesperson, will speak about his perspective of consumer attitudes. The Homeowners Café is a new resource center dedicated to the issues involved with
home ownership. It’s the first resource of its kind in the area to serve as an education center where both clients and non-clients of Zions Bank can go for guidance with their homeownership
