Rich Stevenson is the executive vice president of the Real Estate Banking Group for Zions Bank. Under his supervision, the Real Estate Banking Group has the responsibility for the following lines of business, Commercial Real Estate Term/Construction Lending, Large, Middle, and Small Markets, Builder Finance and Residential Construction, Affordable Housing, Senior Housing, Portfolio, and Credit Risk Management.

Rich joined Zions Bank in 1995 in the National Real Estate Group and was soon promoted to vice president of the Residential Development and Construction Department. After five years, his successes led him to accept a position as senior vice president in the Credit Administration Department. He worked there until 2009 when he was asked to accept the position of Director of Regional Credit in the Real Estate Banking Group. In 2014 he assumed his current role as Executive Vice President.

Prior to joining Zions Bank, Rich enjoyed a successful career in real estate consulting with the J. E. Roberts Company in Alexandria, Virginia and as the Deputy Director for the Western Region of the Federal Savings & Loan Insurance Corporation in Los Angeles, California. In these capacities he was responsible for commercial real estate due diligence, asset management, commercial loan underwriting, project management, policy development, and litigation support efforts. In addition, he was the managing officer for three liquidating Savings and Loans and one nationwide mortgage company in Augusta, Georgia.

Active in his community and church, Rich has served on the Salt Lake City Neighborhood Housing Committee, Layton City Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Committee, and as a youth soccer coach for more than 20 years, and was also a member of the Layton City Volunteer Fire Department for nine years. Rich has also served in many positions in his church including leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America.
